Drew has a great October!
In October, Drew kicked off Financial Planning Month with a bang! He started the month by completing the process to become a Registered Life Planner™, and then attended the Texas A&M University Financial Planning Conference, where he became an inaugural committee member of the Financial Planning Program’s Former Student Advisory Board and received the program’s Selfless Service Award.
Drew began his journey in life planning in 2021, when he attended the Kinder Institute for Life Planning’s EVOKE Training and first began using life planning to help clients create a more meaningful vision for their futures. Drew and a cohort of 10 other life planners wrapped up their 8-month mentorship program to become Registered Life Planners™.
Since graduating from Texas A&M University, Drew has made it a point to attend the Financial Planning Program’s annual conference, where he has developed deep ties with other Former Students in the financial planning profession, and mentored students who are the future of our profession. He has guided students through their preparations for various financial planning competitions, mentored them during their capstone classes and been a sounding board for students navigating the transition into the working world. Last Thursday, the Former Student Advisory Board awarded Drew with the 2024 Jeanie Izurieta ’07 Selfless Service Award and invited him to be an inaugural member on the board’s committee.
