What is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™?

Although many professionals may call themselves “financial planners,” CFP® professionals have completed extensive training and experience requirements and are held to rigorous ethical standards. They understand the complexities of the changing financial climate and know how to make recommendations in your best interest.

What is a Certified Financial Transitionist® (CeFT®)?

A Certified Financial Transitionist® (CeFT®) is a professional with an established career in the financial services industry, who also holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation. They recognize the importance and the power of the personal side of money and the unique challenges of transitions. A CeFT® has a rich and comprehensive understanding of how people subjectively experience change and are able to co-create their highest outcomes with them. This work requires a different kind of listening, a "letting go" of the seat of authority, and an ability to sit with and understand uncertainty. The Certified Financial Transitionist® designation program has three components. Part 1 is a 2-Day CeFT® Workshop, Part 2 is a 24-Month Core Training Program, and Part 3 is a 3-Day Certification Workshop. This unique training and certification program is offered through the Sudden Money Institute.

What is the RLP® designation?

RLP® stands for Registered Life Planner. Financial Life Planning is a movement centered on helping people attain the life they long to live. Registered Life Planners® help their clients discover and articulate their most essential goals in life, and work with them to cultivate the financial conditions necessary to live the life of their dreams. A Registered Life Planner® has had extensive training and is a graduate of the Kinder Institute of Life Planning. This training includes a 2-day Seven Stages of Money Maturity® Workshop, EVOKE® Life Planning 5-Day Training, and a 6 month Registered Life Planner® Mentorship program.

What is the CFA designation?

The Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) Program provides a strong foundation of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills that will give you a career advantage. The curriculum covers academic theory, current industry practice, and ethical and professional standards to provide a strong foundation of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills. A work experience requirement and an annual attestation to ethics ensure career-long professional excellence by those who have earned the charter.
